Environmental Horticulture is a great degree program!
The programs primary strength in teaching is the ongoing research taught alongside production methods, thereby ensuring the most advanced technology is included in the curriculum. To enhance and further reinforce knowledge, most students become involved in undergraduate research work.
Students will take core courses in plant biology, sustainability, and general education that teach the science behind horticulture, and give you a broad background to allow flexibility in your future career. Many valuable courses are also offered as electives to further round out your education.
