Internship
All Environmental Horticulture students are required to put what they've learned in the academic setting into practice by participating in an internship. (Click here for a PDF including the program description and forms.) Here are a few past students and their internships:
- Glenn Harrison - UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H Green Thumb Team Gardening Program
- Vince Noga - Watkins Garden Center, Hudson Falls, NY.
- Lorna Wakefield - Canterbury Shaker Village
Jason Whitney, the coordinator of field experience at the University Advising and Career Center, can assist you in developing a resumé and cover letter, as well as help you search for and identify internships that meet your learning goals and career interests. Contact him at 603-862-2029 or by e-mail at jason.whitney@unh.edu.
